There are so many runs out there. Short, Middle, Long & Ultra.
As a runner, I will always enter races. I do try to keep things local to home or to Melbourne.
However I have a running bucket list. Why wouldn’t I?
So here are a list of runs (in no particular order) that I would love to eventually run sometime in the future.
Now just because some of these say Marathon, doesn’t actually mean I will run the 42.2km distance. A lot of these ‘events’ have half distances, so that’s the distance I would go.
In the trail events, I would consider going up to 30km, but nothing over (at this stage).

What races are on your Running bucket list?
Great list! Most I haven’t heard of but that’s just because I live in the states, but that is awesome that you have a running bucket list!
I don’t know if I ever told you this, but ever since my aunt lived in Australia when I was a little girl and sent me things from there and told me stories, I became infatuated with visiting there. It’s always been my dream to visit Australia. (At first it was my goal to go there for a honeymoon, of course in case I don’t marry… I figured why should I wait until I find my husband to visit.)
So when I planned my 50 states & DC marathon goal, I realized when I finished I needed a way to really celebrate. So when I am done, it’s always been my goal to take myself to Australia and run a marathon there to celebrate my victory. Originally I have always planned on doing the Sydney marathon. However, after reading your list it has me thinking. When that time comes, possibly there is a better marathon there that I might be able to see more, who knows, and thankfully I know you to ask:) So in a year or two, plan on me hitting you up for advise on that! Okay, sorry for the novel, lol lol
Awesome. I don’t mind the novel. Australia is awesome! You’d totally love the great ocean road, people always talk about this one (yet I’ve never done it,). I’ve driving the GOR many times and it’s beautiful.
There are so many runs I’d love to do in the States, I didn’t list them all though.
Never heard of most of these, but duh, it’s always a great list when it involves running though 😀
