Playlist: Spring Start

October was the driest month for 2015 with only 1.4mm of rain.  That’s pathetic.  We need rain, where is our rain? I mean it’s spring, it should be lush and green.  I want it to be lush and green. Alas, it is not.  It’s dry, dry as a bone.

Hopefully, we get some rain soon.

Since it is spring, it’s time for a change in music.

My missing iPod (nano) has been found! Woohoo, you have no idea how happy this makes me.  I’ve been using my iPod shuffle, and while it does the job, I prefer the nano as 1, it has more storage and 2, it makes listening to audiobooks a lot easier.

Lately, I have been listening to a lot of RockMyRun mixes. I’m totally loving Summer Heat, seriously GROUSE mix.

I have also been listening to a lot of songs that have not been played in over a year!  And I’m discovering some awesome beats.

So let me bring you the Playlist – Spring Start. It is a collection of Pop, Funk, RnB, Dance and a splash of Country.

Music-Spring-Start

Yeah, I know my taste in music is very random.  Enjoy either way!

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

I’m totally loving Peponi by The Piano Guys (it’s not on this list, but there is something magical about this Coldplay Version of “Paradise”)

My son totally loves (the Glee Version) of Rock Lobster.

Kayla (my daughter), is loving Girls Chase Boys by Ingrid Michaelson (which has featured in one of my past playlists).

  1. You guys have had way too much drought there! We are in a drought, but I know you guys have it much worse. Hope you do get rain soon!!!!
Love your playlist, several of these are on my own current favorites. My niece and I sing Fight Song all the time:)
My favorite right now is Shut Up and Dance, can’t help but dancing and singing to that song each time I hear it, even if it has been out a while:)

    1. We finally got rain! While not the predicted amount they stated (20mm, we only got 12mm), the ground is wet and it’s just ah, yay!

I only just discovered Fight song! Its now on my summertime playlist (which you’ll get later this year).
