A Letter to Me

RunMum-31day-button

Dear Me,

I don’t think I have ever written a letter to myself in this way, but there is a first time for everything.

It’s humid, and I just finished PiYo. I only did PiYo because I was unable to go for a run.  If it clears up this evening I will go for a walk instead.

While doing PiYo this morning I realised I have neglected this body.  There is no doubt about it, I’ve gotten lazy and use to living a relaxed life.  I’ve let life, kids, family, work, travelling, holidays get in the way. Don’t get me wrong is important to let happen every once in a while, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

With the holidays coming to an end and getting back into a normal routine this I promise you:

I will remember to have fun
I will respect my limitations
I will trust the plan
I will make time
I will continue to learn
I will finish what I have started
I will always give my best

trust-in-me

We are going to have an awesome journey together this year.  I have full trust in you.  You’ve gotten me this far, and I will get us further.
Be happy, be beautiful, but be you.

Love always,
Matilda

If you were to write a letter to yourself what you say?

  1. Love this post idea!! Back when I was in high school my one of my lifestyles teachers made us write letters to our future selfs, she told us to write things that we expected to happen, things we wanted to have happen, if we read the letters 5 years later. Then when we finished we put them in envelopes and addressed them to ourselves.
I forgot all about it, but sure enough 5 years later, my mom tells me a letter came in the mail and oddly she wondered why I send myself a letter, because she reconized my handwriting. LOL
I didn’t remember until I opened and read it, and I apparently wrote a long couple of pages, LOL It was really fun to look at where I was, where I thought I would be. How life changes, for good, bad, different, better… If I was a teacher, I would make all my students to this too:)
