You know one of the things I hate about the offseason?
There is crap all to watch (or listen to).
Then there are road trips and endless travel to get to holiday parties or destinations.
Which is why podcasts are the perfect gift to have this festive season.
What is a podcast I hear you ask?
Simply put, podcasts are a series of audio episodes on a particular theme. Think of them as internet radio instalments or series. They can range from anything. From news, politics, and travel, no topic is uncovered.
Once you enter the broadcast world of Internet radio, the world is your oyster.
Podcasts are my education. From keeping me informed, inspired, and motivated, not a day goes by without an episode of one of the many series, get’s listen to.
Listening time ranges from, running, and commuting to and fro from work, and daily housework to road trips.
If you are new to this world and have no idea where to start you have a couple of options.
- Listen to something that interests you
- Get recommended one by a friend
- Or – Choose from the list below

Trained
Nike has learned through years of research and working with the world’s top athletes that we are greatest isn’t born, it’s trained.
* There has been a lot of negative talk about Nike of late with the Mary Cain story.
Yes, no female should have gone through what she went through, and I think we have a long way to go when it comes to the way you treat & train women in sports. We ARE built differently, and so our training HAS to be designed differently for us (females) to perform at their best.
Regardless of that, and whatever opinion you have about Nike, this podcast is interesting.
