Ultimate Running Date #44

In a blink of an eye, January is over!

February is only 28 days,

Then it’s Easter

Might as well say the year is over.

Nah, too much is going to happen in 2018.

Strap on those shoes, it’s time for us to have our running date.

If you were lucky Santa brought you new gear.

Santa (aka me), got 2 new shoes. The Hoka One Tracer & the Saucony Kinvara 8.

Loving the Hoka’s.  I see them as my race shoe for Canberra.  The Kinvara’s well I’m not loving, but too late to return them, so I will put up with it.

January was a mixed bag, with enjoyable easy runs, testing out new speedwork sessions, and also the beginnings of a new training phase, a holiday and starting the whole life challenge.

Ok, so that sounds busy and chaotic.

Let’s just say I’m happy that school is back and I can get into a proper routine.

We went on holiday to the Alpine region.  Having never been there before, it was an experience I won’t forget. Just stunning.

Lots of hiking and running was had that’s for sure.
