Ultimate Coffee Date #22

I was away last weekend and didn’t get the opportunity to write my monthly coffee date catch-up post.

So here it is a week late. Grab a drink, today I’m having an Earl Grey tea, pull up a chair and let’s catch up for our ultimate coffee date.

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you that I clocked up 143km of running (118km) and hiking (25) in March.

March felt like I was actually getting somewhere with my running, and I think that’s part because summer is OFFICIALLY over and Autumn has finally set it.

Running in cooler weather is so much easier.

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you that my yearly running/hiking total is 354km.

That’s an average of 118km a month. Which would bring my yearly grand total to 1416km.

If I want to get to the magic 1500km, I need to be running/hiking an average of 125km.

Ok, let us stop talking about all the what ifs.  I’m out there, doing what I love and that is what matters.

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you that I’m finally getting into a groove with running at night.  This means when race day for Wings for Life comes around I should be able to smash out my goal of 22km. I’m excited.

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you that we have really gotten involved as a family with Geocaching.  Kids are really enjoying finding their treasures.

We even planted our first Geocache too, called Barri ylung.  No one has found it yet, but it was only recently planted and approve.  Give it time.

If we were sitting down for coffee I would tell you that I have started P90x3, and I’m really enjoying it.

It is only 30 minutes and is a perfect complement to my running schedule. It will take me way longer than 90 days to finish it.  Possibly more like 120, but I’m ok with that.

If we were sitting down for coffee what would you tell me?
