The Ultimate Coffee Date #15

The time has come around to catch up with an ultimate coffee date.

It’s warming up here and it’s just grand.  So today I’m choosing an iced coffee instead.

So go grab a drink of your choice, and pull up a chair and let’s catch up.

If we were sitting down for coffee, I would tell you that I knocked off my 2nd Spartan event for the year.

You can read my Spartan Race Recap here.

I had a great time.  I did it with an RMA (whom I had never met before prior to race day), and helped her along, as it was her first event.

I took the race easy, but it was nice to do it with someone else.

In December I will earn my Spartan Trifecta with the Spartan Stadium in Geelong. My plan for this event is to go hard.  So I’ve upped my training regime.

I will keep you informed on how that event turns out.

If we were sitting down for coffee, I would tell you that we had a lovely time while on holiday on the Sapphire Coast (NSW)

We had a much-needed break and we all had a great time fishing, walking, beach combing, and all other things holiday related.

If we were sitting down for coffee, I would tell you even though I was on holiday I still clocked up 117km worth of running miles.

That brings my yearly total to 1161/1209km.

Which is an average of 129/134km per month.

If I keep going the way that I’m going I will knock off anywhere between 1540 to 1610km by the end of the year.

Gez Wiz even I am impressed with that!

If we were sitting down for coffee, I would tell you that while having a conversation in the car with Tom the other day, I was thinking of the word Awesome.

Now don’t get me wrong, Awesome is a great word.  Until I remembered that when I was a kid I use to say Grouse all.the.time.

Seriously.

Grouse needs to make a comeback.

So I’m bringing it back.

Grouse

If we were sitting down for coffee what would you tell me?
