Speedwork Sessions #4

You might be getting to the peak period in your training.

You know speedwork is important but you don’t want to push too hard for fear of getting injured.

While this session is a tough workout, it will help with your fitness and your endurance levels.

I’ve included a diagram as well as a flow chart for you to pin.

And yes you may need to read it a few times to understand the workout (I know I had to hear it a few times for me to understand it).

Take the walk breaks to recover, believe me you’ll appreciate them.

I must love you guys a whole damn lot, cause I spend hours (seriously hours) in illustrator (so not photoshop, which is my thing), making these diagrams.

Do you know how many times I yelled at the computer cause I had no idea what I was doing!  Like seriously a whole damn lot. Tom (who is the illustrator master in this house), was like “it’s not my fault don’t yell at me”. I’m just used to photoshop k.

So here are the diagrams, made with painstaking love. You BETTER like them… just saying.

  1. Great post, and I do love your diagrams:) I don’t use photoshop either, so I totally understand your meaning of how long it takes to do things and make things look great!! I’ll have to retweet your post, this is actually a great speed work program!!!!!

    1. Glad you like the diagrams, I feel appreciated now 🙂
As Bobby (running friend who creates these sessions) would say “magic”. So retweet away. I have a few more to put up, so watch this space, as I will post one every month.
