With 2018 done and dusted it’s time for our annual catch up.
How was running for you in 2018?
Did you achieve what you wanted to achieve?
Or was it less than stellar?
2018 was all about building the ks into my legs.
You see I have some big goals coming up for 2019. To get there, I had to start my planning all the way back in 2018. I wanted to see if my goal was even possible.
Well, it’s safe to say, that while event wise it was relatively quiet with only 2 events done for the year with the Australian Running Festival and Goldfields, I was really happy with how running unfolded for me in 2018.
December Running Statistics
Distance – 126 km
Total Hours – 22
Longest Distance – 10.5 km
Number of Activities – 29
December saw me start a base training plan. This is to primarily keep up my fitness. It has enough variety in there for me not to get bored.
To complement the running, I’ve also been doing Les Mills Combat. Again, it’s challenging enough and adds flavour to my workouts.
2018 Running Statistics
Total Moving Distance – 2146 km
Monthly Average – 178.83 km
What does 2019 have in store for me?
Big things! I’ll announce those soon.
Until next time, run on!
