My guiding light for the year is one beautiful word: SAVOUR.
This isn’t just about achieving things; it’s about being present for every sweaty run, every delicious bite of flan, and every ‘aha!’ moment in a book. It’s about tasting the journey.

🏔️ Trailblazing & Ticking Boxes (The “I’ve Been Meaning To” List)
Yes, I see you, Mt. Macedon. You’ve rolled over from previous years, but 2026 is our year! This list is a guide, not a dictator—life will throw detours, but these are my inspirations.
- Mt Macedon: It’s time. The view awaits!
- Hanging Rock: Get me to the picnic!

📚 The Literary Lunge (Read All The Things!)

My eyes are bigger than my Kobo’s storage space, but a girl can try! Time to tackle the digital backlog and dust off the physical shelves.
- 26 books from my overflowing Kobo library.
- 13 books from the home library (physical copies need love, too!).
- 13 audiobooks (perfect for those long runs, see below!).
💪 Strength & Sweat (The “Gains and Goals” Section)

Let’s get strong enough to lift the memories we’re making! This year is about power, persistence, and trying new things.
- Trapbar Deadlift: Hit a massive 134kg (estimated 1-Rep Max). Wish me luck/send chalk.
- Leg Press: Smash 100kg for reps. Quads of steel, here we come!
- 26 NTC Workouts: Find 26 workouts I’ve never tried before. Hello, novelty!
🏃♀️ Run Forrest, Run! (The “Eat. Sleep. Run. Repeat” Vibe)
The pavement (and trail!) is calling. These numbers look daunting, but they are a constant reminder to lace up and get out the door.
- 1500km total for the year.
- A minimum of 25km per month to keep the engine ticking over.
- A weekly average of 28.85km. Specific, I know!
- Run a massive 150km month.
- Run an even more massive 200km month.
- Finally, run a glorious Trail Event. Mud, sweat, and good times!
👩🍳 Kitchen & Crafting Chaos (The “Making Memories” List)

This is where the hands-on magic happens. From fibre to film, it’s about creating something tangible.
- Knit a challenging cable vest (I’ll need serious focus for this one).
- Make Kayla’s Bla(nket) (Version 3.0)—a classic that always needs an upgrade.
- Bake Mum’s Flan (the true taste of comfort).
- Master the art of Wontons (because they are delicious).
- Create and print the epic 2022, 2023, AND 2024 photobooks. Catching up on history!
🔮 The Life List (The “Joy & Jiggle” Category)
These are the things that make life sparkle. Celebrating, exploring, and treating myself (and others!) to things that bring immense joy.
- Celebrate Ximena’s fabulous 50th in style!
- Get Tommy the macro lens he deserves (enabling his art is a win for me, too!).
- Listen to 26 new-to-me albums. Hello, sonic exploration!
- Deep dive into 26 artists from my existing library (giving old faves new attention).
- Watch 26 movies (popcorn mandatory).
- Print, frame, and hang artwork that’s currently collecting dust. Walls deserve beauty!
- ???? — Whatever I want! (Because spontaneous joy is the best kind.)
This list is my secret weapon for a motivated and memory-filled 2026. It’s a guide to inspire me and keep me delightfully accountable.
