It was the night before Tough Mudder
And I am nervous as hell.
What have I gotten myself into?
But there is nothing to say but, “oh well”.
I will just have to suck it up.
As my entry fee is paid.
And I’m not wasting my money,
Just because I might be a little afraid.
The forms are signed.
The alarm clock is set.
Tough Mudder is tomorrow
But I just can’t help it, I’m starting to fret.
My bags are packed,
They are in the car.
I’ve got my snacks,
Of apples, nuts & protein bars.
I better get some sleep,
So I’m rested for the big day.
Tough Mudder here I come,
You are only hours away.
I’m feeling fit,
The training’s is done,
Oh goodness me!
Could I actually be looking forward to this torturous fun?!
With the crack of the gun.
I’m going to make this day mine,
Muddy I’ll be
But I look forward to getting to the finishing line.
