With December nearing its end, it’s time to check in on my 23 in 2023 goals.

Well, what can I say, this build has taken way longer than I thought, and anyone who asked “Are you in the house yet”, made me want to curl up and die, I would just flat-out say no.
When you both work full time, and you are owner builders. Something is going to give. That something was our expectations of a timeline.
It’s mid-December and the carpet has only just been laid.
The appliances have been ordered, but we are in the house. No.
No, we won’t be in there for Christmas
No, we most likely will not be in there for New Year’s.
Now, it’s just a waiting game.
It’s safe to say that 2024 we will finally be able to call our house a home.
