Many of the jackets listed are discontinued or no longer available, so I thought it was time for an update.
Choosing a jacket can be a bit overwhelming.

There are two main things to keep in mind when choosing a jacket. Your why, and cost.
With those two factors in mind, you also need to keep in mind that the Durable Waterproof Rating aka DWR has a major roll in cost.
Think of your rain jacket as an investment. Once you purchase it, you will have it for years (I’ve had mine for going on 4 years, and it has been one of my best purchases).
The higher the DWR rating the higher the cost.
Not all jackets list their DWR rating, which is really frustrating. Therefore I’ve only listed the jackets that I could confirm their DWR rating.
