Evelyn Hugo is glamorous. (Think Elizabeth Taylor glamorous).

When she is ready to tell all about her life, she specifically chooses Monique Grant of Vivant (let’s just say Vogue) magazine.

Monique questions why her. Her life is in shambles, her husband has left her and she doesn’t exactly love her job.

Evelyn is willing to give Monique her life story. The story of her seven husbands.

The real question you need to ask, is which of these husbands did she love?

And how is Monique connected?

This book has been on my reading list for a while. It keeps appearing in my for you page on TikTok.

Kayla however beat me to it. She loved it (I caught her crying over it a few times). My sister also wanted to read it, and she said, that I could read it but I have one week to do so until we go to Melbourne and it’s loaned to her.

Instantly I was like

Challenge Accepted

Sometimes you need to go into a book with zero expectations. This book left me pleasantly surprised. The characters felt real. You felt invested in not only Evelyn’s story but also Monique’s.
