We all know that speedwork sessions are designed to make you a faster runner.
There are days, however, especially after leg day at the gym, when these workouts are really hard.
When I plan my workouts, my aim is to put easy runs on gym days and have quality sessions before a hard gym session.
This allows enough time for my body to recover.
During the off-peak season when I’m not training for anything, I still like to do interval workouts, just not as long or demanding.
This is why this workout will knock your socks off!
It’s short and sweet, with a total time of 33 minutes or about 5k.
The best part is you can choose to walk or easily run your recoveries.
