My parents always told me that I was free to do whatever I wanted, but I was not free of the consequences of my decisions.
Now that I’m a parent I’ve said the same thing to my kids. Yet, I tell my kids that their decisions affect not only them but those around them.
We have all had to make hard decisions in our lifetime. Do we take that new job? Do we go back to school? Do we move interstate?
Life comes with hard decisions, and we all have to take risks.
Whatever you decide to own it. Sure it may not work out perfectly, but you’ll be glad you made the choice because you will have learned from your mistake and push you in the direction that you do need to go.
Do what matters, it will be hard, but you will find courage in what you do.
