Mindful Monday – Doing it for Me

If you’ve ever flown in an airplane you would be familiar with the in-flight passenger announcement on oxygen masks.

If you are travelling with a child or someone who requires assistance, secure your mask on first, and then assist the other person.

You can’t help others if you are drowning yourself.  Sometimes you have to be selfish and look after yourself first.

When was the last time you look after yourself?

When was the last time you took time out and did something just for you?

Change is hard, but when you focus on doing things for yourself, it builds your confidence, makes you stronger, and helps you to help others when they need it.
