Stawell has a rich history of gold mining.
While the mine is currently active underground, there are many historical markers scattered throughout the town.
Some are long gone and forgotten.
For this week’s Tuesday image I jumped on my bike and headed to Three Jacks Reserve, just on the outskirts of town, and the start of many of my running tracks.
Just off the beaten track hidden in amongst the bush is this old building relic. What it was I don’t know. I could have been a house or a building used in the old-timer mining days, who knows?
