Sweet Potato & Apple Hash

Recipe Review time!

Since going/doing paleo I have tried out a whole heap of new recipes.  I have had this particular recipe on my list for a while.  I found it while I was doing #Whole30 but didn’t make it because it’s really hard to get whole30 approved sausages where I lived.  So I figured I would wait until after whole30 to try it with gluten free sausages.

I have Paleo Parents to thank for this recipe.  I’ve been a listener and follower to the Paleo Parents podcast for about 2-3 months now and love how informative they are.  If you are a parents with kids who have allergies (like me) then you should listen to their show, just excellent.

Whenever I’m at the supermarket, I always check out the clearance section on the meats.  I usually always pick up some awesome deals (knowing the right time too shop helps too). The other day while I was up the street getting a few groceries that I forgot the day prior, I went to the clearance section and found these gluten free sausages.

If Woolies wants to reduce them to $3.63 then, I shall buy them and have them for lunch. Which is how I came about to making this recipe.

I was quite happy with how they turned out. Next time I will cut up the sausages so they cook a bit faster (which is why one of them is cut, cause I was seeing if it was cooked).

    1. Ooh I must try it with carrot.
We’ve done baked hashes, with carrot, pumpkin, beets, and potato, but I’m really enjoy doing it in the pan (and then finishing it off in the oven, for that crispiness)
